Nowadays,as people are much more aware of protecting our environment, using NOPLASTIC products is more and more important. In this condition, compostableproducts and biodegradable products play a big role in our lives.
Butwhat is the meaning of compostable products and biodegradable products? Whichone is better? What is difference between disposable, compostable andbiodegradable?
Definition:
Disposableproducts means the products could be used only once. Disposable products can bemade of paper, plastic or any other materials.
Biodegradableproducts means it is capable of being broken down especially into innocuous products bythe action of living things (such as microorganisms). Biodegradable productscould be made of sugarcane pulp, bamboo, wood, etc.
Compostableproducts means that it can be used as compostwhen it decays.
Difference:
Disposableproducts include non biodegradable products and non compostable products aswell as biodegradable products and compostable products.
Biodegradableproducts are eco friendly, and can be broken down by living things.
Compostableproducts are eco friendly, too. But it can not be decayed by living things. Itneed something special, like chemical catalyst .
